James Palmer



James Palmer first rode a BMX track when he was 6 years old as an alternative to racing Motocross. His passion has always been BMX but also enjoys competing at a high level of Soccer and Alpine Ski racing. James represented Canada in France and the Ukraine at the age of 11 in Soccer and then went on to win the San Marino Cup in Italy at the age of 12. James is also a competitive Alpine/Ski Cross racer and has been a member of the Vancouver Ski Team for the last 2 years. In BMX, James’ favourite tracks are the Chula Vista SX track, ORL BMX in Florida and Wittier BMX in LA. His goals for the 2012 BMX season are to participate in the World Championships in Birmingham and qualify for the Junior Men main event. Additionally, James is focussed on qualifying for a Supercross race as well as achieve top 5 in the 2012 Canadian National Championships in his first year as an Elite. Future goals are to qualify and represent Canada for the 2016 Olympics!

Past Achievements Include
5x Canadian ABA Nag #1, 4x Canadian ABA Nag #1 in Cruiser, 5x Canadian ABA Grand Nationals 1st place, Canadian National #2 Junior Elite Men 2011, Top 10 in North America Junior Rankings as of Dec 2011, 3x BC Cup Champion, 3 podium finishes at Canadian National Championships
